Celebrate your Life! W14 Last Week :(

Last Week of our Entrepreneurial Course L

Well it sure has been a great journey with lots of learning which, it’s time to put into practice!

One of the things that have stuck to my mind throughout this course is these words: “Never give up”. Being an entrepreneur is not easy, but it is achievable!

How can we be successful?

One of our lessons that we had in this course, was to be an Honest Entrepreneur. I tell you the same, being Honest is a big word; from this you can gain confidence from people, both customers and co-workers. Don’t steal ideas from your co-workers; share instead ways to improve their ideas.

Another thing that can make us successful is balancing our lives with our jobs and family. We all know that a family is given to us in order to give and receive support both ways. Take the time to spend with them, enjoy being with them. Plus, this is a way you can relax from the pressure you may have at work. My family is very loving and caring when it comes to supporting in something we have to at work. I have an entrepreneurial father and mother, they each support each other, and they try to involve us as kids in their business so that we know how to run the company ourselves. They are always creating ways for us to be self-reliant.

Don’t ever stop Dreaming! God has given us all talents for us to find and use them. Search for ways to improve your abilities and always think of other. Think about what are people’s needs? Are they things that you’ve always dreamt of? Is there something else I can do for people? These are questions that I’ve made to myself every time I see someone’s need. I would like my company to suit people’s needs. Dream Big Dreams!

Never stop being thankful! We have become great leaders and great entrepreneurs because of our Creator. Always be thankful to God and always share how grateful you are with him for given you talents and giving you intelligence to be able to create things that people need.

Last, enjoy what you do and don’t do it because “you have to”, but because you enjoy doing what you doing it! Being an entrepreneur does not have to be a burden for you, but something that you will be excited for every time you start a new week!

I really enjoyed this course, since it sure was a big open-eye for my future goals!

W13 A Journey of Gratitude

Let's give our gratitude to those who have helped us to become who we are now:

A church leader in one of our readings this week, taught us the following quote:
"Mother, who willingly made that personal journey into the valley of the shadow of death to take us by the hand and introduce us to birth—even to mortal life—deserves our undying gratitude. One writer summed up our love for mother when he declared, “God could not be everywhere, and so He gave us mothers.” [Pre. Monson]
I sure agree with him, God and his son Jesus Christ are the main people we should give our gratitude to, but next to them we have our parents, mother's specially.
Being an entrepreneur we need to think about who has helped us throughout our journey through success, we think about teachers giving us classed of success, counselors, priests, family members, etc. We could not have done it without their help.

We got to the top thanks to their teachings and advices. I remember my very first teacher when I arrived to the United States, I had not one single word in English, and she didn’t either with Spanish. There was no way of communicating verbally so she would speak and point to things so that I would understand, and look at me now, writing blogs in English J. I am very grateful with her patience.

Each of us should always think of someone that has made a difference in our lives, that person earns respect and love for their patience.

I enjoyed this week, at the same time, I have learned many things, but enjoyed this journey through this course!
